Niki Giannakou is an EU-qualified Attorney at law registered at the Athens Bar and a Candidate at the Magister Juris postgraduate program of the University of Oxford (2025-2026). Previously Niki was practicing law at the AA Lawyers law firm based in Athens (2020-2025).

Niki read law at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens where she completed her LL.B. and her LL.M. in International and European Law, graduating first in her cohort from the latter. During her undergraduate studies she participated with great success to the ‘Manfred Lachs’ International Space Law Moot Court Competition as a contestant (2018-2019) and twice as the Faculty Assistant Advisor (2020-2021, 2021-2022).

Niki already counts numerous publications about space law and cybersecurity in peer-reviewed journals and proceedings of renowned international conferences and she is a member of the International Institute of Space Law (IISL).
